No help for demagnetized keys

I came in on my last night from work to find my key cards were inactive. I called all applicable numbers and lines for assistance from 1030 to midnight and couldn't get ahold of anyone! I had to sleep elsewhere for night I paid for at WoodSpring Suites! I came back in the morning and was finally able to get ahold of someone on the phone. The "night manager" shows up 30 minutes later and was so non-chalant "well that sucks, I guess you could take it up with the manager". At a minimum, they should refund me the final night of my stay!
