Update by user Jan 06, 2020 Contacted Sunvalleytek and their customer support blamed me for improper storage, saying if the device isn't regularly charged, the battery can discharge itself into a permanent state that is unrecoverable. All they did is tell me to buy a new one again and they'll offer a 35% discount on the new one. As if I would want to buy another one of their products again. Sounds like a bunch of "donkey turd" to me from a brand that doesn't supply good quality products. I've had many power banks that aren't charged "regularly" and they work perfectly fine the minute I need them again, even if they've been collecting dust for over a year... I've had tablets that I only use during vacations so I leave them unused for most of the year. They only drop charge maybe 10% over the course of the year. Battery is fine and the tablet boots up again. Please, what a poor excuse. I contacted Amazon (where I purchased this item from) and they said they will offer me a full refund since Sunvalleytek isn't going to properly refund me. The last time I will buy anything from Sunvalleytek again. Original review posted by user Nov 29, 2019 Dear Sunvalleytek, I purchased a "Car Jump Starter RAVPower 300A Peak Power" on Dec 11, 2018 on Amazon. Order # 702-963****-801**** Due to the nature of the product, it's an emergency tool which I had not opened last year. Upon an emergency just earlier this week, my vehicle battery died and I was unable to jump start my car with this product. I went home to plug it into a wall charger because I figured the product is probably out of battery as well, but to my surprise, it didn't charge. The gauges indicating the battery charge level never lit up even after leaving it plugged in for 2 hours. I pressed the power button and nothing happened, nor did the flashlight work. I read the instruction manual carefully 4 times. The device doesn't seem to be charging up. I believe the car jump starter was defective upon delivery and I had never known until now since I never had an emergency to use it until earlier this week. Is there anything you can do in regards to a refund or replacement. Due to the cold winter, I would prefer to have a replacement ASAP. Let me know promptly how we can resolve this issue.
