No activation of mobile

My mother received a new mobile and was sent instructions to activate the SIM card and have her old mobile number changed over to the new mobile. I have waited nearly 2 months and still no activation has been carried out. I have rang approx 10 times and have been told it is a technical issue with systems not talking to each other (that was the last excuse)!!!!!!! User's recommendation: Do not sign up with Southern Phone.
