We had a Natuzzi leather sectional sofa for years and it was just looking tired, but we were really happy with it. So we went back and this time got a Natuzzi Editions sofa, not realizing it was not made in Italy, but was Italian Leather made in China. DON'T BUY ONE. The outside is beautiful. The leather soft and supple. The color is holding up well. That's the only good thing I can say. After just a couple months, it started sagging where I sat. Not just a little sag. A LOT OF SAG. Given we were still within warranty, we stopped by Florida Leather Galleries, where we purchased the sectional and they arranged for a technician to come out (it took several weeks and multiple calls to get scheduled, but we finally were scheduled. The service technician finally showed up and turned the pieces upside down, removed the ticking and showed me what's really inside. And what to my wondering eyes did I see? Cheap foam and webbing. I mean webbing like on a lawn chair. The webbing has stretched (I'm not obese) and the cheap foam had compressed. It's embarrassingly poorly made inside. The technician tightened all the cheap web strips (they're simply stapled in place, btw) added a couple more web strips, added more foam, put the ticking back on and said we were all fixed. Now, less than a year later and no longer under warranty. The sagging returned. It returned so badly that it feels as if I'm sitting in *** and it's uncomfortable, to the point it's causing sciatic pains down my leg. We decided it's just junk furniture and we didn't go back to the seller and we have now ordered a high quality, made in America sofa that is hard wood inside, uses real metal coil construction, which won't sag and offers the ability to replace the cushions in the future should we need to replace them. I am posting this as a courtesy if you are looking at Natuzzi Editions furniture. They look great on the outside. They're basically *** on the inside and what you buy won't last. I didn't find this site till it was too late after purchase to see many many others have found the same with their purchase. Bottom line. Buy a higher quality product in the first place. We're spending thousands of dollars to replace our mistake, making this an incredibly expensive situation. ONLY purchase a sofa which includes coil construction, real hardwood frames and the cushions should be removable in case you ever want to replace them.
