I’ve been a Redken colorist for 20 years and have NEVER had any issues with covering gray hair as I have since Redken has reformulated their color gels line to color lacquer. I mix correctly, leave on for tequir d amount of time. I should not have to do “old school” tricks to pre soften the cuticle. Never had this issue with original color gels. I’ll be switching color companies.
