We have been calling NYSEG pretty much every single day to get a status of when our service would be turned on. Get nowhere each time. They couldn't provide a date or even a time frame. NYSEG engineer received our report on 5/17/18, and it is still sitting with them. When we asked for a manager, they would tell us the manager was on another line and would call us back.Same excuse every single time. And no one ever called back!! Customer service is horrible as well. The lady(Employee ID 125676) I just spoke with even raised her voice. My house burnt down back in 2013 and new house is finally rebuilt. Electricity is the only thing that we are waiting on to be able to move in. I have a little boy, and my baby is due next week and my mom is coming next week to help . We currently live with my friend, but she doesn't have the room for all of us once baby is born. Representative could not provide me an number to the engineer. She claimed she was trying to give me information so I could make other arrangements. Well, the only information she gave me was "It's going to take a while and I don't have a time frame for you and I don't have a number for you to contact the engineer." Worst company ever!!! Unfortunately, NYSEG is the only service provider in our area. We are stuck with them!!!
