There were so many issues with this company. To begin with they are not actually movers, but brokers for other companies. They lead you to believe that they are handling the move, but are not. I ended up getting 3 different company names told to me during this ordeal. All asking for more money for different reasons. Issues: 1. Did not arrive for pickup on 2 separate occasions. Then arrived a day late when they did show up. I had to fly back twice in order to meet them, costing more money, only for the not to show as promised. 2. Took about a month before goods arrived, and only after calling repeatedly and threatening to sue. My number must have been blocked, because I had a friend call immediately after me and they answered the phone, but not when I called. Eventually they blocked her calls as well. Rude and disrespectful on phone. "Mike" is the one i initially spoke with. Told me, "You only paid $2000" when I complained about not having my delivery at a reasonable time. It was "not cost effective" to transport my goods at the time. 3. When they arrived, without notice, tried to extort me by asking for cash or cashier's check and if I did not they would place my things into storage and I would incur more charges. This happened on a Sunday morning, so even if I wanted to I couldn't get cash. Also wanted to re-charge me for steps! I then spoke with a "Mr. Brown" and told him I won't pay for this, and he agreed to accept a check. 4. Half of my things were missing! and I received boxes and items from some one else. Some things I had stopped them while they brought it in, but after they left I found boxes of electronics, nightstands, and other things not belonging to me. I tried calling them immediately, but they refused to come back to get these things. So another customer out there is missing things, or has mine. Things were in the truck unlabelled which is probably why things missing. My 3 main concerns in the move were my massage chair, adjustable bed, and 55" TV. The remotes for the chair, and bed were lost, and the stand for the TV was missing. I packed a few boxes myself, and they were opened and re-taped prior to arrival. Someone went through some of my boxes and failed to close them properly and put stuff into them that were not mine. I am retired military. I spent 20yrs moving around and with my new company as well, and this is the worst experience I have had in my life! I will do a more through background check and get things in writing from now on. I have been trying to file a claim with them, but they will not answer or return calls. PLEASE stay away from this company, Allegiance Moving and Storage.
