My 7th new home was built and purchased by Cachet Homes. The experience has been a complete nightmare. Our closing punchlist was written up March 2007; here it is August 2008 and it is still not resolved. To list a few issues: our woods floors are peeling, the stucco is falling off the house, central vacuum doesn't work, all toliets had to be replaced, cabinets issues go unresolved, graphite is bowing and the list goes on. This home was $875,000 - I certainly expected better service than this. Did I mention our Cachet Project Manager won't answer my calls? I have to have contractors call him for me to get him on the phone. Never buy a Cachet Home!!! Based on three other experiences, I recommend Shea Homes.
