I requested cancellation at the beginning of the pandemic. I was denied, in spite of the fact that I was well past the 12 month minimum requirement for cancellations. At this time, all of my membership dues were also up to date. I was told my only option is to suspend payments until the park re-opened. I was also told that if I suspended payments, I would not be eligible for the membership upgrade being offered when the park re-opened. I suspended payments knowing that this pandemic was not going away anytime soon. I made safety my priority and it still is. Six Flags, w/o permission or communication after multiple requests to cancel, now says I can't cancel until payments are caught up. I requested this cancellation 2 months ago. I received notice that they received my request and that they would get back to me. They didn't. Six Flags, still without responding to the follow up requests for cancellation, started to attempt to draft my account. They expect me to pay for the 2 months that they failed to communicate back with me and allow me to cancel my membership as per my contractual agreement allowed. NICE. CORPORATE GREED OVER PUBLIC SAFETY. GREAT MESSAGING! LET PEOPLE CANCEL THEIR MEMBERSHIPS. YOU CANNOT GUARANTEE THEIR SAFETY! **And yes, I do have the email responses. User's recommendation: DO NOT PURCHASE SEASON PASSES.
