My subscription isn’t recognized when I read a WAPO article on Google News

Google News posts articles from various news services, including The Washington Post. The Washington Post didn't recognize that I am a subscriber and stated that I had already read three free articles, making the assumption that I am not a subscriber. I find this very how can we resolve this?
