My monthly payment went up with no explanation and I received a letter stating they were going to put a black mark on my credit after I made my payment 2 days early

I pay an even amount every month, not any more! My payment was low $400, somehow after making a payment early my payments jumped up past $460 a month. On top of that my previous payment of $500, which they acknowledged they received, only shows $366.17 of it being applied toward my vehicle... if anyone can please explain to me what happened to the other $133.83 of my payment and why my monthly payment went up I’d greatly appreciate it.
