Promises, promises, promises, to get you in there! So we were kind of really interested in this travel program. We travel quite a bit, and we wanted to see if it would really help us save while doing so. The bonuses to just go and listen to the presentation we thought would be worth it. So they say you get these "free gifts, just pay the taxes" So we listened to the presentation. And what they were asking for the membership, was more than we were willing to spend. And now I'm glad we didn't. Makes me wonder if there's some hidden fees in the membership. So they promised us 2 airfares and 3 day 2 night hotel stay. Just pay the taxes..... So there asking $100 process fee (non refundable) and $99.00 per person for taxes for the hotel and the airfare. Ok, that's not too bad, but some of the fine print. It' subject to travel centers availability and inventory. The cruise: 2 adults 3 to 7 night cruise $75 activation fee (non refundable) 3 night cruise starting at $229.00 pp. 4 night cruise starting at $249 pp 5 night starting at $339 pp 7 night starting at 439 pp So I looked up Carnival cruise line for a 3 day cruise starting price $269 pp 4 day cruise $229 pp. Yes, the 4 day is less than the 3 day. 5 day cruise I couldn't find a price for a 5 day cruise 7 day cruise $569 pp Again, if they have availability! So if they don't have anything available, that means my $75 activation fee will end up in there pockets, and me I end up with nothing. Although I will have to pay the cruise price, plus the taxes if I book on my own, at least I know I'm going on the date I want to go on, and if I need to change the date, I'm not going to loose my money. If they have all these fees for there visitors, what fees do they have for there members?
