Booked moving services on July 17 (via tel call and messages as I live in BC) for a move on Aug 29 within the downtown area of Toronto. Both addresses (moving from and moving to) were provided at the time of requesting the quote on line. Eugene called and confirmed the total cost of move and the time of the move (2 pm which was convenient to him). The day of the move, Eugene, started having issues with coming downtown and finding parking! He would not leave until I had promised to pay for any parking tickets issued to him…to which I agreed. At 1 pm. (an hour before the move out time) he sent two of his associates to the move out location to check on parking and promptly refused to do the move after one of his associates deemed parking to be an issue. (NOTE: The previous year the movers we used had no issues at all). Whilst going back and forth in regards to the parking issue, Eugene, became belligerent and started shouting at me for not having advised him of lack of parking! I reminded him that when I requested a qoute, I had provided both the addresses. The fact that he confirmed that his company would be able to do the move meant that he had done his due diligence especially since I had mentioned that I was NOT a local! Needless to say I had to scramble and find another company to do the move and had NO PARKING ISSUES!. The name of the company should not be BEST MOVING TORONTO as it provided the WORST service ever! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
