9/18/18 I purchased a set of wheels and tires from CARiD on July 09, 2018. Upon arrival, i noticed many issues with the order. FIRST, I had paid them an extra $152.96 to install TPMS sensors, which they did. The TPMS sensors are what tells your vehicle which tire is low and where it is located. For example "Driver's Rear". So every wheel/tire combo came with a location on it, such as "Driver's Rear". The problem is that if i placed the tires in the correct location, two of the tires where facing toward the back, instead of to the front. These tires are directional, and cannot be used backwards. They will need to be remounted, or have the TPMS sensors reprogrammed. Both of which cost money, both of which CARiD never acknowledged, nor did they offer to fix. SECOND, one of the wheels came with a giant "ding" in the face of the rim. Again, no offer to fix or replace. THIRD, every wheel/tire combo was mounted and balanced so they could be installed and driven immediately upon arrival, unfortunately the mounting weights that they used were not affixed properly, and fell off of one wheel/tire combo while simply sitting in the garage. This will need to be re-balanced, along with the rest that are using the same weights. If they fell off just sitting there, i'm sure the rest will fall off as well. FINALLY the biggest issue of all. The fourth wheel they sent me was not even the correct bolt pattern for my vehicle. My Kia Rio uses a 4 bolt pattern, and the last wheel had 5 bolts. This is absolutely unusable. I contacted CARiD about the issue. After many days and weeks of getting the run around, i was given a shipping label and told to ship the wheel with incorrect bolt pattern back to them to be corrected. Finally they stepped up and attempted to correct the issue. Unfortunately, they are now telling me that i must close my PayPal case before they will ship it back. They are literally holding my wheel for ransom until i close the case that is my only lifeline from them screwing me over. I feel they are being dishonest and attempting to get me to close this case knowing that i will not be able to open it again. I finally just requested all my money back via PAYPAL which i got months later. EVERYTHING they promise is a lie. Be prepared for horrible service and pre-scripted email responses not relevant to to the situation all. Their service staff is trained to just copy and paste and answers, never giving any personal help. Aaaaand upon delivery, every wheel and tire was posted with a giant orange sticker stating that you now own these wheels and CARiD will NOT be held responsible if you attempt to install them. Basically saying if you put them on and set the car down, you're stuck with them. FAR from what their website states. And be advised returning one of these costs about $70 each. That's out of YOUR pocket. Cost me $200 to send the other 3 trash products right back to this trash company.
