I recently refinanced my mortgage with Loan Depot in November of 2019. First payment made to Loan Depot in January with extra principal. Then I made February payment to Loan Depot with extra principal. However I was sold in January to Cenlar bank but already made my payment to Loan Depot. Called both mortgage companies and was told don't worry the money will transfer over and your first payment will be in March for Cenlar. Well, apparently it looks like only the extra principal transferred over to Cenlar. I contacted Loan Depot to let them know my February mortgage payment id not transfer. They assured me and sent me the Federal Reference ID number to prove this. I wrote numerous emails to Cenlar to research this and called customer service to resolve this. It seems customer service can not look at your emails on the website and the people who do will not talk with you. I have been waiting for some correspondence about this and only received a message that problem was "solved" but it is not. I am still a month behind on my payment and can not get anyone to look at the processed bank statement to prove otherwise. It has been a nightmare. User's recommendation: Do not do business with them at all.
