I am a current customer looking to purchase a new home. The service is nothing like it used to be a couple of years ago when I got my current mortgage with them. I applied for a mortgage with Provident. When I got within 2 weeks of our rate lock expiring they changed the loan contingencies. Each time I met the contingency they added an additional contingency until the rate lock expired. So I wasted money on an appraisal. They do not return phone calls and do not respond to emails. Stay away from them. You will be wasting your time and money. User's recommendation: Stay away you will be wasting your time and money.
