Month old software not working

I have a Nordictrack treadmill that stopped updating so it cant be used. Technicians dont fix software and the people I spoke with on the phone for two hours couldnt fix it. Finally they agreed to send me a new console but it wont be in for weeks. The treadmill is just over a month old so they wont let me return it.
