I received my meal kit Tuesday, June 8. We went to cook the steak with sauce Robert meal wedensday night and when I went to open the Parmesan cheese packet, I luckily smelled it before pouring the packet onto my food. It smelled terrible and once I opened it up all the way and looked at it more closely, I noticed it had blue specks on the cheese. I am very happy I smelled it before spoiling my whole entire supper and getting extremely sick to my stomach, or who knows what could have happened eating that molded cheese. It wouldnt have only been me sick either, it would have been the whole house sick, all because of that cheese. I am very upset with home Chef, and would like to be compensated in some way. This could have been much much worse had I not checked the cheese. I did take pictures of the moldy cheese. I would love to have this whole disgusting mistake made right in some way or another. I really enjoy home chef and do not want to have this experience ruin my love for the delicious meal kits. I will take whatever steps necessary to have this made right. Please, let me know what you can do, thank you. I dont want to have to write any bad reviews or reach out to any agencies.
