I own a Jenn-air refrigerator that has since been discontinued and has gone into disrepair, my home appliance insurance company wants to replace it with a comparable equivalent but needs the model number to make that happen. I bought my unit from a used appliance store and it came with no manuals. The model # is posted on the rear to the unit but because of its size and weight (675lbs), and the fact that it’s a built-in model, there is no easy way to access the rear of the unit. The refrigerator is a 48" built in counter depth model. Is there any way to research discontinued models numbers for that kind of information?
