Missing Power Cable

I purchased a Garmin Striker 4 Plus on clearance. I was in the process of outfitting my kayak. 30 days had passed and i went to install it on my boat to find that the power cable was missing. I took it back to West Marine and they told me that 30 days had passed and that i could order one from them or contact the manufacturer. So i called Garmin to see if they would offer to mail me one but was just offered the part number so that i can purchase one online. User's recommendation: Better customer service from both West Marine & Garmin.
