Missing Certificate and Warranty Questions

2

The dealer I bought my scooter from went out of business but I have a 3 year manufacturer’s warranty. Unfortunately, the dealer also did not give me a certificate of origin when I purchased it, so I could not take it to another dealer or sell the scooter to another party. I looked up Genuine’s number through this website because they do not have one listed on their site. I was told I needed to get the certificate from another dealer. The local dealer asked for $35 to print out the certificate and Genuine did not cover the cost nor return my email about about other warranty questions; they deferred to the dealer. My maintenance plan with the old dealer is now void and the new dealer will not service under the warranty. Poor customer service all around the board.
