Somehow, I was allowed to cash two checks twice on accident, which is a huge security problem & only one of the issues. The funds were removed (twice) from the person's account that wrote me the checks. When I realized the error, I called less than 24 hours later to see if they could put a stop on the 2nd duplicate deposits. Nope - nothing can be done. 6 days later, the duplicate deposit was removed from my account for one of the checks. 19 days later, the second duplicate check funds was also removed from my account. It has now been one month & the funds haven't been returned to the rightful person/account and after hours on the phone & multiple visits to the bank, NO ONE can tell me where the funds are. I continue to get the run around & tomorrow will be one month that the account is short $5325.00. I also requested to remove my ex-husband from one of my other accounts & apparently he has to die in order for them to do that. I closed that account. As soon as I get my money back, I will never be doing business with this bank again!
