Misrepresentation and fraud from Safeguard

I didn’t use the system. I purchased the system because the salesman said he could save me $60/month on my phone bill and that would be more than my $39.99 monthly payment. He was able to get me reduction on my Direct TV. After paying a year, the alarm went off and I couldn’t shut it off. I called the number the rep gave me and that number was not in service and no Safeguard was listed in California. I didn’t have a copy of the agreement I stopped the automatic payment from my bank. After three months I received a bill from Safehome Security. I never heard of them and they said they own Safeguard. I don’t want the unit; I don’t appreciate being threatened when I wanted to cancel. I was even told that I might even have a lien on my house if I don’t pay the 60 month agreement. The man said, “ I don’t know because I don’t have your agreement at this time I have excellent credit and I don’t want my credit ruined when I was misrepresented and even threatened.
