Misleading/misinformed staff

I had to cancel a premium economy flight from Australia to New York and was assured a flight credit would be issued. Several calls, and several subsequent flights later where credit could have been applied, I am now told that it is outside the 12 month period and they can't do anything about it!! I flew twice inside that 12 month period that could get no answers each time, now its my fault apparently the initial booking is too old. I suspect they onsold that credit from the airline to another customer and why they can't do anything about it. Rude Argumentative Misinformed (I received different information and assurances each time I called) Misleading
