Mislead, Bribed, Bamboozled

Hello, I'm not happy that I was mislead about your company. I researched and found that to start working here it is going door to door and I'm upset that when I asked Tina (who called me in regards to my second interview) is it door to door she said something else followed by a manager in training program. I will not be interested in any further job opportunities with your company. I even asked the president Mr. Wrinaldo (yes I researched this, actually read a blog about BLUE that he, himself had commented on. I did not know he was the company president at first) during my interview what would I be doing and he said marketing and sales and being like a team and I said I want to do like office management stuff and assistant executive or administrative assistant type of job and he said I'd be able to do that too. However he did not mention that I would have to go door-to-door and that's very wrong. I really am not trying to bash your company but I'm not looking to go to people's homes and sell my product especially because I do not have my own car. I also have a mild back problem that causes me to be in pain if standing for long periods of time. Otherwise I'd probably give this a shot just to see where it goes and see how much fun I have here. I do like the way Mr. Wrinaldo handled himself he was very polite and I sensed this type of laid back persona and very ambitious, which is good and very rare in people these days. I just don't want to do the door to door thing and I don't feel comfortable pushing a product while in someone else's home unless they are wanting to hear about it. If any of my friends or family are interested by all means I will tell them what this company does and give them the link to your website if that is something they're into. I don't know if the ladies from HR that I spoke with were allowed to tell me what I would actually be doing but either way I wish everyone here good luck in their future endeavors and I truly hope that you are all doing a job you love and one that is making you happy. I apologize for not coming in for the second interview because of how mislead I felt but I hope that's forgivable. Again, good luck to all and I hope that during the first interview whoever does the hiring process is more straight forward about everything because even though I should've maybe asked straight up if it was door to door I didn't and maybe that's where I went wrong but either way I've learned to ask more questions right away. Thank you for your time anyways though. Yours Truly, Amanda Money So this is what I emailed the BLUE Inc HR Department after my experience with my first interview Wednesday March 19th at their Schaumburg office. It wasn't until later on that I realized the guy who interviewed me was the president of BLUE. I got a call within about an hour after posting my info on Career Builder the day before and also an email with the interview info from a woman named Nadia. It was a nice place where they're located in this huge building right next to the Embassy Suites hotel but the office you go into seemed small. I'm not sure how many offices were inside but it was nice and seemed like a comfortable environment. The interview was in this bigger room with windows you can see through and a big round table. The receptionist seemed nice and asked me to fill out this form then attach my resume to it. There was a small radio playing music which I thought was kind of neat and made me think it was a relaxed type of office which is nice but some may think that it's not appropriate. When I was filling out the paper they have you fill out an African American woman came in for an interview too but she looked about late 20s or early 30s. When I left after only being interviewed for about 10-15 mins I saw about 4-5 what looked to be all white women and I'm pretty sure they were in their 30s-40s. I'm assuming I was the youngest one that day but I'm not sure. I just thought it was odd that I got picked so quickly for the 2nd interview before the day was over.. I'm a very nice person and do not ever give any kind of reviews unless I feel very strongly about something and since I already have my info on LinkedIn and Indeed I decided to try Career Builder and when I got calls and emails I was like great this is awesome and they have ALL been "sales and marketing" companies. For example I got a job offer or an "interest" from a company called D1 Consulting which I read online is door to door. I searched Google and then found a report of the Blue Inc. On rippoffreport.com so being that I went through this I want to let others know what they're in for. Also, I found out that apparently you can buy your way into getting a BBB or Angies List plaque for your business wall. I'll post all insightful links below that I found helpful and in some of the reviews people have been mistreated because they wanted to quit and had trouble getting their checks. Also these calls and emails I was getting were all within a day or two of me creating my Career Builder account and one other place was located in Des Plaines which the lady said was about 20 mins from Schaumburg but I told her it was too far and that I was sorry but I have to pass and then repeated herself and said if you take 90 it's really quick.. was a bit annoying but she said they also advertise the AT&T and UVerse products so that was kinda strange to me. I don't know if all these companies work together to help AT&T or if they're competing against each other. Either way just thought I'd share this I hope it can help at least one person. People For People Marketing Inc is another type of job like this company too I believe. I found their business on ziprecruiter.com and I couldn't find a link to click on to learn more about them which was odd but here is the job listing I found to judge for yourselfs: https://www.ziprecruiter.com/jobs/People-for-People-Marketing-Inc/813777c5 Good luck to those honest, loyal and hard-working people out there who are truthful from the start, maybe one day I'll be working with you or for you! -Amanda M http://www.pissedconsumer.com/reviews-by-company/blue-inc/blue-inc-is-a-scam-from-an-insider-20111229284989.html http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/directory/blue-inc http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/specific_search/McKennedy+Marketing http://www.pissedconsumer.com/reviews-by-company/cydcor/employment-scam-colossal-marketing-concepts-vision-quest-cydcor-20091010158973.html#comments-section http://entryleveljobscamsblog.blogspot.com/2012/05/team-one-inc-schaumburg-il.html?m=1 If you'd like to join this company or learn more about what they do: http://m.theblue.info https://www.blogger.com/profile/10198791601775197524 (I'm not making any sort of profit by putting any of these links up just spreading awareness and info.) P.S I doubt I'll get an email response from them but if I do I'll try to upload it if anyone is curious as to what they said to me.
