Misinformation / Website

1

On the 1st December 2011 I placed an order for a number of clothing items with www.laredoute.com. When on the 12th I had not received my items, I sent an email for an update. On the 13th I received a reply saying there was an issue with the delivery address I had entered and could I re-enter it and include all my address details (like I was going to leave half out!) as the shipment had not yet been dispatched. I advised them the full details had been listed and there are no Post Codes in Southern Ireland. On the 15th I received an email advising that there was an issue with UPS not recognising the Irish address (Amazing such a multinational delivery company, with offices all over the world has an issue withe an address in Ireland) & therefore the order was now cancelled! When refund had not been applied to my Account within 5 days, I sent numerous emails chasing which I was told on the 28th the refund would be made but it would be after New Year as their Accounts were now on annual leave. On the 11th January I STILL had not received a refund & after numerous emails (polite but stern) and phone calls to France (at my expense) on the 12the January I received a full refund. I was so annoyed I wrote a letter of complaint to their head office and received an email back on the 16th apologising for the inconvenience but that the system was now OK and I could replace the order if I wished (they had put 0000 in as a Post Code for Ireland). So, I gave them a 2nd chance & on the 18th January I placed another order for €183.00. On the 20th January I decided I'd just check the status of it via their website & it wasn't showing up so again I contacted them requesting a tracking reference for the UPS web site, no reply received until the 25th! Goods still not received and no tracking reference or status showing up on their website. They eventually came back to me on 27th advising their was still an issue (with UPS & not their system of course) the order wasn't dispatched, couldn't be dispatched and they were going to give me an immediate refund (which they did). I order goods from all over thee world including USA & China & I have never had an issue but the service or lack of in relation to feedback, delay with initial refund & overall service was appalling. I would advise everyone in Ireland NOT to order from this company as there will be issues with delivery addresses. It's a shame as they do have lovely clothes for both women & kids. To date, I still have not heard back from them to confirm if the delivery address issues have been resolved and to be honest, I'm not going to give them or me a 3rd chance. Take my word for it., DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE... :(
