Microwave is not working no more only 3 years old

I recently bought my mother that is 78 years old a microwave that she hardly ever uses 3 years ago and it just quit working last month.and I cannot find the receipt but it's only three years old manufactured in August of 2017 what is it that I can do about getting it replaced or do I have to just go and buy another microwave for her
