Metroplex trading = *** artists!!

I placed an order for dishes on Ebay through Metroplex Trading. They arrived broken. At first, they seemed helpful, told me how to follow their return rules so that I received a replacement set. It came a few days later, again broken. I wondered why a company couldn't figure out how to ship dishes without breaking them, but I thought because I had such a good experience with them on the first exchange, I wouldn't have a problem. Wrong. They sent me the same information, told me to use their return labels to get the proper credit and wouldn't be shipping me more dishes, but instead would give me a credit. This was in October, and I never received my credit. They insist that they never got the dishes, they have no way of tracking (despite the fact it was their own required return shipping label). Because of the way they operate their return services, when you bring it back to the post office, it gets given to a "third party" to ship back. They couldn't provide me with a company: UPS, Fedex, etc. They also said that until they get the package, I would get no credit. You can clearly see on the USPS website that a package was returned that corresponds with the tracking number they provided. I tried very hard to obtain information from them on how I could do their job and track the package myself. They were downright rude and uncooperative. I e-mailed them for months, checking on my package. I got the same canned response, telling me that even though they can tell that I returned it to the post office, they can't give a credit until they have the dishes, because "they can't re-sell a product they don't have". How, pray tell, would they sell BROKEN DISHES?? When I told them that it's their fault that I can't track because of their REQUIRED method of return shipping, they told me that I should have paid for the shipping myself and put my own label on there. But when I was returning it, they made it very clear I had to follow their rules to get my credit! Seems like a scam to me. I filed complaints with Ebay, Paypal and the Better Business Bureau. All complaints came back "unresolved" because all the company keeps hiding behind is they never got the box back. They refuse to track the package, refuse to acknowledge the fact that I did return the package and you can clearly see that and refuse to provide a "good faith" credit. BBB advised me to take them to small claims court, but it's not worth it. That's what they count on. The president of the company responded to the claim. He flat out lied in some responses and you could tell had NO idea what actually transpired in other responses. I e-mailed him directly with answers and what happened. He never had the guts to e-mail me back. I went to my credit card company and they agreed that the company was at fault and refunded my money. Today, Metroplex Trading re-charged my credit card. Are they that hard up that they need $39 that badly? Well, with practices like they use above, I wouldn't doubt it. I want everyone to know what scam artists they are. And the kicker: when I made the E-bay "purchase" from them, all they did was place an Amazon order on my behalf. Scam artists!
