Mechanic lost part for shock absorber but put it on anyway
The mechanic was installing the last of four shock struts on my 2004 corvette when he dropped a part. He looked for the part of for 5 to 10 minutes moving took boxes and equipment, but he could not find the part. So he put the shock on anyway. And they also refused to check engine light for me. User's recommendation: if you can watch what is being done to your car.
