Add me to the list! What a nightmare! Also bought a 2 pack at Costco and one of them malfunctioned yesterday. Called First Alert and they are replacing. Today, less than 24 hours the second one went off for no reason! So thankful we were home both times as we have little dogs that cannot tolerate the high pitch of the alarm. Called First Alert back again. Advised them I no longer wanted P1210 in my home. We are giving Alert one more chance. Changing model to SA3210 and if it happens again I will never purchase First Alert again. User's recommendation: Insist company replace P1210 units with different models.
