My Proton Persona mileage is 18k, however the vehicle is 18 months old and is due for the 30k service schedule. Sent to Proton AmOne Auto for servicing but AmOne insist that I change the spark plugs, otherwise they will not stamp and sign the warranty and service book. My point is the warranty and service book show that spark plugs replacement is due only at 30k mileage. My vehicle mileage is 18k, can I not change the plugs on the next service. Why do I need to change the plugs at 18k?? And they have not even bother to inspect the plugs. Is this not a waste. Because of their insistence my vehicle was not service and the vehicle maintenance icon is on.
