I never had a problem with my bill untill the last couple of years! I have always had bills ranging from 150-350 depending on the time of year. The last 3 years I have recieved at least one winter bill (after the holidays) for a rediculous amt of $700-$800 for one month. You cannot get clear information of why the bill is almost tripled, and its nevwr Ambits fault. This was the last straw. In 10 years I have NEVER had an august bill reach over $300-$400 range!! It was $821 bill for 1 month just 1!! They offered a lousey 10% discount to me if I wanted to make payment arrangements. I have already contacted another power company to switch my service. I am not gonna entertain these rediculous bills any longer. Its literally me and my husband at home now and we both wrk outside the home on a daily and are in bed by 9pm. We had 6 kids together and in this house all at one time and the bills NEVER reached that high! There is no possible way just the two of us are using $800 worth of electricity in one month. Im just tired of being sick and tired!!! Goodbye Ambit and Buyer Beware! There is a reason lawsuits have come up and thet they have a 1.6 rating out of 5. The only people saving with Ambit are consultants earning money off what you pay!!
