Love Bracelet Issue

My wife's bracelet keeps falling off. It is a miracle it has not been lost for good. I have sent it back to Cartier no less than six times and they polish it up and send it back but what I really want is a refund. It will not stay on. My wife is in her seventies, how much abuse can she possibly be giving this item that it won't stay on her wrist.
