Lousy company policy’s!

1

We purchased a small two drawer nightstand last weekend. It was cheap and would work for what we need it to do. My issue is with the company. Our package had a broken side piece to a drawer and when I contacted the company (via email listed on the paperwork) to receive the replacement piece I received and email stating the company I purchased the product from was not one of their distributors and they would not warranty the item. How in heavens name am I to know who their distributors are? I found an item I wanted to purchase and I purchased it. The seller states the items are "as-is" but products have factory warranty. The seller wasn't even aware of Prepac's policy. There are too many other companies around that will warranty their products like Ameriwood. We purchased a 5 drawer dresser from Ameriwood and the hardware bag was missing. I emailed the company and within a week I had the missing item. Spend your money with a company that will back their products & not give you a bunch of "we would gladly help you if: you stand on your head during a full moon on the last Saturday of the month!" ***
