At the end of the promotion the purchases would be transferred to the standard purchases at regular interest. Called got the details, used it, paid off the entire amount May 2018 and was still charged interest. What they didn't tell me was that May 1st everything would be transferred. Convenient isn't it? right after my statement rolled off on April 28th and a full month of interest would accrue. Excellent strategy to steal from your customers. Over 20 years doesn't mean much anymore to CITI, well time to start with someone new that values customers who pay on time and have high credit lines.
