Longest most absurd wait time. ZERO INTEREST IN PATIENTS

On March 5th into 6th, 2018 I visited the JHH ER department with stomach complications and a high white blood count. My doctor sent me there to "be admitted" and FOURTEEN HOURS LATER I still sat waiting helplessly with 40-50 other clients. No progress seemed to be made during the first fourteen hours of this disgraceful ordeal. They got me in to be "triaged" left me to take a bag of fluids for FOUR HOURS, never once communicated anything to me, checked up on me or even had the decency to offer water or some type of snack or even water. The check in people seemed to view the entire scene as a their little realm of a cruel and utterly callous joke that they were running like a banana republic. They laughed and carried on and cut up ignoring patients, some of whom were sobbing in pain and frustration due EXTREME NEGLECT for MANY HOURS! This place is a HORRIFYING DISGRACE AND NEEDS TO BE BROUGHT UP IMMEDIATELY TO BOARD SCRUTINY, audits and probable charges. What a laughable excuse masquerading for medicine--one of, if not the richest well endowed facilities in the country. Their Emergency Dept. which is the only dept I had the extreme misfortune to deal with was THE WORST MEDICAL ENCOUNTER I've ever experienced.. total INCOMPETENCe- Utter DISGRACE!!!! And they all continue laughing and carrying on- getting paid to...torture the sick like this.
