I registered at this website to share my opinion regarding loan modifications. It seems blogs on this site and its moderator support the self-help theory for people to seek more affordable homes through loan modifications. I support loan modifications and have seen much success with them helping people experiencing hardship. I support the practice of hiring and using an attorney to represent myself in ANY legal process, as I am not a lawyer but believe in having one to represent my best interests. As most, if not all, people who enter a legal process do not know what the outcome would be, why wouldn't they hire an attorney. If you knew the ooutcome, an attorney would not be necessary. Instead, people rely on information from the other side of the negotiating table, their lender, who is well-armed with lawyers to protect their best interests. GEEZ, people would rather listen to each others' horror stories, failures, troubles, a figure things out on their own. HIRE AN ATTORNEY, you don't know enough to truly help yourself. So, anyway, after blogging these thoughts, the moderator permanently banned me without a reason. Needless to say, I will know longer use their website to give my clients all sides of the story. Plus, they ask for donations to support the website. Bunch of idiots, in retrospect.
