Ok.. So we know that a lifetime warranty is only as good as the company providing it exists. Well Garry vacuum is Out of Business. Even when they were still in business the motor died on my vac within months and it was hardly used.. They were willing to fix but to ship back at my expense was well over 100.00. I am a very handy guy so I opened up the vac and found it to be very similar to an Oreck which I also own.. I purchased an Oreck motor on line for 35.00 and with very minor modifications installed in the Garry and 6 years later it still works great- Oreck belts fit as well User's recommendation: You can use many Oreck parts to keep your Garry working.
