Bought this case for my S9+ just after Thankgiving. Have had a few other of their cases for various phones and devices, and felt they made a rugged case. After a few weeks I noticed that there were pieces of dirt and debris in between the back of my phone and the case back. Also to my surprise there was a hair. This hair was like 3 inches long. It was not my since I shave my head. Don't get how these things can get inside a "sealed" phone case?? The same issue has happened with other cases in the past, but usually it happens after the time frame in which I can return it to Amazon. Luckily with the SLAM case I still had an open window and will be returning it. If Lifeproof want to charge top dollar for cases that are supposed to keep out the elements, then maybe design some better cases. You charge way too much money for a poorly designed case. Can find better quality cases online for half the price. Even a competitor like Otterbox has better designs at a fraction of the cost.
