When the operator answered, she ascertained the situation and called for emergency rescue/ambulance services. She was in contact the whole time until they left for the hospital. Life Alert call after the ambulance left to make sure all went well and that we were able to proceed without assistance. Life Alert called our contact list to make them aware of the situation.
