Lied to by Gentle Dental Care

My wife broke off a front tooth. We are limited income, and I am on SS disability with an incurable disease. We have no dental insurance. I called these people to see what they would charge for a temp tooth. The lady there told me that no dentist was available that day, but she would look at my wife, and maybe she could put something temp in. There would be no charge if she could not help. We went there, and lo and behold, there was a dentist there, and he took an X-ray without asking, and them told us that there was nothing he could do without doing a lot of work over a long period of time. We went out and the receptionist said ' that will be 96.00 dollars. I said no way, that the person that we talked to said there would be no charge if they couldn't do anything. She said that was without an x-ray. I said, fine, but I would report them. counted out 80.00, and was reaching for another 20.00, and she said she would just take 80.00 because she did not have change. Well, nothing was done for my wife, and we were out a very precious 80.00 of our grocery money for nothing. I feel that they owe me a $80.00 refund.
