Called customer service concerning the awful lemony tasting water. Super kind rep! Said the water takes on a lemon flavor when the filter is exhausted. Asked me to check my tap water which is 485ppm! With water that dirty the filter cant last very long because it has to work so hard! I plan to buy a large container to put bulk filtered water in and then put that in the pitcher! Should save a TON of money on the filters and give me good clean water. User's recommendation: If your city water is bad consider getting cheap filtered water from your market and use it in your ZeroWater jug! It will save your expensive filters and you will have clean, pure water for a much longer time.
