Learn from our mistake….find a retailer who will stand behind their products…Trail Appliances does not.

Three years ago we spent $4000.00 on a Kitchenaid fridge from Trail Appliances. We also paid extra for the extended warranty. We started having problems with the fridge a few months after we purchased it and have had nothing but problems with it every year since. Each time the fridge breaks down we have to throw out all of our food and a few times water from the ice machine has leaked on the floor and damaged our flooring. Each time we have contacted the warranty company we have waited a minimum of one week before they can repair the fridge, sometimes we go two weeks without a fridge waiting for the warranty company to order parts and come out and repair the fridge. We have a young son which has made being without a fridge extra challenging. We have contacted the Trail Appliance store directly numerous times to get their assistance with our on going problem. Each time we are brushed off and told to call the warranty company again. Our extended warranty will expire soon and we'll have to start paying for our on going fridge repair bills directly. I guess the upside is that we can start using better repair companies and we won't have to wait two weeks for a repair company to come out. Learn from our mistake.....find a retailer who will stand behind their products. Our experience is that once Trail Appliances gets your money you are no longer their problem.
