Larson 100 door — you get what you pay for!

3

Door is cheaply made. Spring screen does not function smoothly. Must help screen back into holder. Somewhat difficult to install. Hard to put screws into top guide because screws are at 2 inches plus in top of housing. Screws in bottom rub against the door. Had to get flat heads. Be sure to use shims to level a sloped transom. Interesting: on-line instruction does not mention shims. In reviewing book later, it informs one to use shims for sloped transom helpings to eliminate bottom of door from jumping track. Overall, about of a 5, I would give it a 2 as to quality and workmanship. It will serve the purpose of giving us air when days are cool but not as a highly transient door. User's recommendation: May want to check out better quality doors.
