Our initial account setup with Aramark was to supply new scrubs and lab coats, and we specifically indicted that we did not want the overpriced service associated with mats. Aramark was unable to supply new garments in a timely manner and agreed to provide used garments until new garments were available, and almost 2 years in to this service we are still being provide with old, used garments. Additionally, Aramark informed us that our account was setup with mats, and changing this would interrupt our service, so they agreed to make up the cost we were being charged for mats with lab coats, however, now that we are seeing additional lab coats provided we have identified an increase in our invoice that indicates it is for additional lab coats ordered. More recently we needed to setup a clean room account and we were given a minimum charge per week. As we prepared to sign the quote we were informed that Aramark was increased pricing by $50 per week, nationally. I requested they honor the original price quoted and they refused. I have decided to cancel the account and move to Prudential, and I have been waiting for approximately 3 weeks for Aramark to inform me of the buy-out cost, which is what they call it when you close an account. Aramark seems to feel they have a lock on the uniform services business and good customer service is not required.
