Would someone please remind the nurses to set up lab work for their doctors' patients? I had specifically asked a nurse to make sure that my lab work was in the system, and she said it would be. When I arrived at the lab, I was told that it was not in the system! I do not know about other people, but I have to drive a distance to get to the lab. It costs time, money, and gasoline, plus having to deal with traffic, road detours, and stupid drivers to get there, and then be told that the order for blood work is not in the system! This has happened to me more than once. It is frustrating, and the aggravation is not worth it, not to mention a new doctor and a new nurse every one to three years to "get to know."
