So for a long time I have been searching for the RIGHT, keratin treatment to use on my hair. I've had the treatment done at a salon once and I was super pleased with the results. However, years later, I wanted to get the treatment done once again. I decided to buy the Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy for $182 plus tax online. I had my sister who is a professional hair stylist apply it for me. When I had it done, I truly did not notice the difference too much. Yes, my hair was a bit easier to manage. This time around I could wash my own hair at home and not have it washed at the salon due to the fact that it was difficult for me to do it on my own. After two or three weeks, I noticed that in the shower my hair was falling out excessively. Too much. In the shower it looked like a horror scene from those scary movies. I could not believe my eyes. My hair was not braking, it was literally falling out from the roots. You could see the hair fall out when i would gently pull the ends to remove the hair that was not longer part of my scalp. Till this day it is still falling out. When its wet, when its dry, just ALL the time. I have not done anything or re applied the keratin treatment because I am super scared I will stayed bald. Just never buy this product again. I bought it because after intensive research, this particular keratin treatment stood out as the best. Even ABOUT.com stated it was one of the best. This is the first time I have experienced hair loss with a keratin treatment. I have had it done three or four times and the previous times everything was fine, except for this one time when a *** keratin has made my hair fall out. It is also noticeably thinner; like baby hair thin. and it brakes easily due to how thin it is.
