Kentlands Veterinary Hospital
You have to ask for a written estimate of costs, they will not honor a verbal estimate. I don't think they're bad, they quoted me the wrong price and charged me more than what they quoted me. It's very unethical. The office manager tried to slice it a few different ways but that concerned me even more. She offered to provide me with a credit for the difference but I declined, I wouldn't go back to use the credit nor was that the most ethical resolution. She said the Veterinarian Dr. Handel was aware of the issue, but if he were he would have asked for a fair resolution, I can't imagine any vet that saves animals lives would stand for poor service. when it comes to money it's ethics plain and simple. Even if they offered a fair deal and gave me my money back, I wouldn't accept it, I pay for service, especially for my animals. They are one of the few vets in town that provide acupuncture so I'm disappointed that I can't give them a good rating. The next closest pet acupuncturist is about 45 minutes away and they charge more, but I feel they are honest, their prices are written on their website, very clearly. No matter how great a vet practice is, if they are not honest with money, I doubt they are honest period.
