I CANCELLED my membership to 24 hour fitness. I was not checking my Amex and came to find out they reinstated my membership saying that it was put on hold. I was very clear that I wanted to cancel my membership. I did not authorize them to reinstate my membership. I talked to several people (after being on hold for 45 min or so with each call) and they tell me there is nothing that can be done. Its theft. I am being extremely vocal about this, have already persuaded 4 people to not join and join Total Woman Gym instead. Its cleaner anyway
