just talking to someone in the pharmacy…44 minutes then hang up

Today is Sept 11, 2021. I called the Walgreens at Noland Road and 39th St. in Independence MO 64055 because they had put a prescription on hold for a few days without any word or text. I waited on the phone for over 45 minutes, hear "I'm sorry" over 200 times. After the 45 minutes, the phone went dead. Now really upset, I called to talk to the store manager. I talked with Pam. I told her the situation. She did not accommodate, in fact - she said, again, I'm sorry...well, I hung up on her and called my local HyVee. Told them to transfer the Rx to them. I will not shop at that Walgreens again. (period/full stop) Used to be my favorite, open 24 hours, always communicating with me. But that all ended today. Get more help, STOP the consistent "I'm sorry..." in your stupid message that gets repeated evert 15-20 seconds You're NOT sorry, otherwise Pam would have jumped in. Goodbye Walgreens, goodbye!
